DESCRIPTION:Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day suicide intervention training for anyone over the age of 18 interested in learning suicide first aid intervention skills. Trusted by professionals\, approved by the World Health Organization\, ASIST can be learned by anyone. \nWe are pleased to offer ASIST at a subsidized rate thanks to the generosity of the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. The regular cost of ASIST is $275 plus taxes and fees\, per person. Registration will open in September \nThis training workshop is being hosted in the HRM – exact venue TBD.  Lunch will be provided both days.
