Webinar: Leading Change at Work: Addressing Intimate Partner & Domestic Violence
Leading Change at Work: Addressing Intimate Partner & Domestic Violence is a national workplace training designed to equip employers, managers, and employees with the knowledge and tools to recognize, respond to, and prevent the impacts of intimate partner and domestic violence in the workplace. This training is grounded in prevention and can be tailored to the unique needs of an organization.
Learning Outcomes
1. Explain the scope, impact, and dynamics of IPV/DV in Nova Scotia and Canada.
2. Differentiate the types of IPV/DV and recognize their effects on individuals, families, and workplace environments,
3. Identify the signs of IPV/DV at work and understand how it can affect employee safety, performance, and well-being
4. Apply the “Recognize, Respond, Refer” framework.
5. Reflect on strategies to foster a safe and supportive workplace culture, including policies, conversations, and actions that contribute to long-term prevention and change.
